Every adult involved in an Explorer Post should complete the Youth Protection Guidelines on-line training course. Even if the leader has covered the recognition of child abuse, legal reporting procedures, etc as part of their professional training this course is valuable as it highlights procedures specific to Learning for Life and Exploring.

EXPLORER LEADER BASIC TRAINING

Following completion of the Explorer Leader Basic Training PowerPoint, contact the Exploring Office at 619-298-6121 x 223 so that your registration records can be updated. The training session includes a review of the Exploring Program, Explorer Post Organization, required paperwork, etc.
