Character Development is essential to the personal as well as the academic success of each student.  By implementing a school site based program taught by classroom teachers, we hope to positively impact the behavior of these young people.

The Character Development curriculum focuses on 8 character traits:

There is a Teacher’s Guide for each grade level with lesson plans that are so complete that very little preparation time is needed by. Even though the above traits remain the same from Kindergarten through 12^th grade, the content of the lessons is always age level appropriate, and no lesson is ever repeated.

Learning for Life is currently serving over 10,000 students in the San Diego Unified and Sweetwater School Districts.  Because this program is necessary to ensure positive mental, emotional and social development of youth, the individual schools, local businesses, service clubs and foundations have helped to cover the costs.
